We had a great time and I'll be honest, you can't look into that big, deep hole and not stop and ponder the creation and the grandeur of this world.
One of the seven natural wonders of the world, right in our back yard. Don't miss it!
Anyway, I am sharing some of the pictures with you. Of course, they are nothing like the real thing. For that, you should take your families and go. Keep the kiddies on a tight leash though. there are some steep drops along the trail.

How fun! The pictures are beautiful:o)
I love the butterflies on your blog. How'd you do that?
We need to visit the Grand Canyon--we're not that far away but have never taken the detour to go see it. We really should.
Great photos.
Cool pics, Michele. =) I haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet. We almost ventured forth earlier this summer. Maybe next year.
Michele now i wish i would have gone oh its so pretty there that looks like it would have been really fun but i had fun anyways love you guys
Oh the pictures are so pretty! The leash thing is a good idea. :) Our family went a few years ago in the spring. There was still some snow up there. My little brother who was then about 10 decided that the snow on the other side of the railing looked much more interesting than the snow on the safe side! I saw him a few seconds before my mom did. I had to clamp my hand over her mouth to keep her from screaming! I said mom if you scream you will scare him and he will slide over the edge. Im like talk calmly and he will come back over and then you can be mad at him. :) The things kids do :)
I love your pictures. And since I'm deathly afraid of heights & know there's absolutely no way I'm taking my family there - I'll just enjoy the wonder through your camera's lens. :)
Hey michele, its Jen. What a fun trip you had. Darling family!!!
